Squid's Sea
A downloadable game for Windows
A prototype for a game concept I am working on. It is a puzzle game where you try to get the highest score possible.
--- How to Play ---
You cannot move while you still have pieces to place on the board. Drag the pieces from the bottom of the screen onto the board in the black box. Once they are placed, they act as an obstacle for the squid. Your goal is to get to (touch) the green tile. This is how you score points. Once you reach the green tile, you will be given more pieces to place. See how high of a score you can get!
--- Controls ---
WASD - Move Squid
Left Mouse Button - Drag pieces onto board
Esc - Pause game
B - Toggle Debug stats
H - Toggle hitboxes

Download the zip file. Decompress zip file and run the executable called 'squid'. Enjoy!

I like the concept. however, some of the blocks are being shown off the screen, which makes it a pain to find them, which I think is due to me having a smaller screen size than yours. I also think it could be better to change it so you had to directly land on the greenspace instead of just touching it.
I appreciate the feedback. This is a prototype game idea, but if I ever return to it for a fully developed game I definitely really like the idea of landing on the green tile instead, as well as better resolution support.
